School uniform school year 2024-2025.

At the beginning of May we started our school uniform project for 2024-2025. We approached last year's sponsors personally and sent a sponsorship letter to clients of Elbia Tours Puerto Plata, among others. There have been responses to this and a number of last year's sponsors have already made a financial contribution for "their child", so that he/she will be able to receive education again in the upcoming school year.

On Wednesday, May 1, 2024 we were guests of the Rotary Club Elsloo - Maaskant to give a presentation about our foundation. This raised the nice amount of 500 euros as a donation.

On Saturday, June 15, we got to give a presentation at the Action for Action Foundation. They donate money to a number of beautiful projects around the world. Last year we already received an amazing donation from them. For this coming school season they have promised a donation of 1500 euros.

For the 2023-2024 school season, thanks to 93 generous sponsors, we were able to provide as many as 72 children with school uniforms, sports uniforms and school supplies.

Again this year we hope to support all 72 children. Four of these children will attend high school. If we can raise the necessary funds, we would like to continue supporting these children for the next four years, so that they can receive vocational training after high school and thus lay a solid foundation for their future.
